In the summer of 2024, the Pittsburgh Steelers partnered with Sightline Commercial Solutions to expand the VIP seating options at Acrisure Stadium. To maximize fan engagement and optimize underutilized space along the sidelines, Sightline installed two new rows of premium seating to accommodate approximately 100 additional VIP guests. These sideline seats provide an immersive game-day experience with enhanced views and proximity to the action on the field for Steelers and Pittsburgh Panthers home games, as well as concerts, international soccer exhibitions and the NHL Winter Classic. To ensure a seamless and efficient installation, the Sightline team custom-engineered SC97 aluminum support platforms and frames into forkliftable sections. The project also incorporated EPD-certified aluminum guardrails and handrails along with step units to enhance safety and stability while maintaining a sleek, modern aesthetic. Plush, high-end seating from DreamSeat elevates comfort and adds a sense of luxury and exclusivity to these new sections, ensuring long-term enjoyment for Steelers fans for years to come. Utilizing advanced technology, including 3D field scanning and rendering tools, during the design phase, Sightline was able to fast-track approvals through Acrisure Stadium management and the NFL and deliver solutions in time to optimize pre-season marketing efforts. The result is an elevated VIP experience that enhances fan engagement and maximizes seating capacity without compromising stadium operations.
