Sightline's supplied various equipment to facilitate the 2017 Presidential Inauguration ceremony on Jan 20, 2017. In total Sightline Commercial Solutions installed equipment at over 20 locations on the West Lawn of the United States Capitol Grounds overlooked by the United States Capitol building, as well as at the Ulysses S. Grant Memorial overlooking the Capitol Reflecting Pool. At the West Lawn, Sightline Commercial Solutions installed access ramps, step units, and platforms which helped the public access the grounds to view the proceedings. Equipment featured fully custom-built sc100 powder coated steel c-frames, sc9600 aluminum understructure, sc90 platforms and aluminum step units as well as aluminum guardrail to enclose the elevated platforms. Ramp rail and handrail were also installed to allow safe access on the ramps and step units. At Ulysses S. Grant Memorial, Sightline Commercial Solutions installed access ramps which allowed the memorial space to be used as an additional viewing area. Equipment featured custom-built systems similar to those installed on the West Lawn. The project featured a field survey gather critical dimensions for the custom-built systems, a temporary installation set up for the event, and a tear-down phase following the ceremony. This is Sighline's third, successful inauguration install (Jan/09’-13’ & 17’).
