Founded in 1923, Belmont Hill School is an independent all-boys educational facility in suburban Boston that offers visual arts, musical and theatrical programming to encourage young men to express their creativity and talents. To create additional space for performers and audience members in the school’s Kraft Theatre, Sightline Commercial Solutions installed 12 Uplift® stage platforms in the orchestra pit area of the main stage. Custom built to fit perfectly into the existing space, the scissor-lift platforms allow the school numerous options for configuration layouts and expand the existing performance area to accommodate larger shows. Adding to their appeal, particularly for the limited Belmont staff, Uplift platforms can be easily adjusted by one person, allowing for quick and easy transitions between events. Plus, each component is custom finished to blend with the theater’s aesthetics for a seamless look.
